Holiday 2015: Euro exchange rate means cheap European travel

Kelly Hanrahan, branch manager of Premier Travel’s Sidney Street flagship store, offers her insider knowledge on what’s hot for 2015.
January and February are traditionally the busiest times for holiday bookings, and so far this year has been no exception.
With the recent slump in the value of the Euro, holidaymakers can now save on their European summer holiday, which is great news for everyone.
Local departures continue to be a big trend, and for customers looking for ski holidays or retreats to the Italian lakes and mountains, the departures from Cambridge Airport are ideal.
We are predicting 2015 to be big for the Channel Islands, with departures also available from Cambridge. Among our most popular destinations, Jersey and Guernsey (pictured) have so much to offer, from beautiful sandy beaches and romantic walking trails to water sports and a packed events schedule.
The choice of child-friendly hotels and resorts set alongside golden beaches make the Channel Islands a popular holiday choice for families, but they’re equally popular for those without children in tow, thanks to their rich history, gastronomic delights and huge range of walking and cycling trails to be explored across both islands.
